The housing market is still a disaster. To do something about it, RTL is now launching *Huizenruilers* (House Swappers). This program follows people who are stuck in their current situation. Think of families outgrowing their homes or people who simply want to downsize. Instead of endlessly searching for a new and, above all, suitable place to live, they decide to swap with another household. But there is a small catch!

1. Femke, Gijs and VeroniqueFemke and her son Gijs from Haarlem have permanently swapped their rental home with Veronique from Hoofddorp. For Femke, who has already moved 25 times and is currently living in a home that is too small, this swap represents a significant improvement in her living situation. Veronique, on the other hand, lives in a home that is too large and, with an eye to the future, wishes to move to a smaller home, preferably in Haarlem.
