The Spy
The story of Shell, one of several spy networks operating in Portugal during the Second World War. Directed by the British who operated in Portugal between 1941 and 1942, it had a plan to destroy infrastructures and act as a counterintelligence unit in case the country was invaded by the Germans.

1. Episode 1On June 26, 1941, the German army invaded Russia. Maria João photographs Lisbon full of refugees arriving in Portugal. When his father-in-law Nicolau suffers an accident, he asks Maria João to help him manage the company. Major Beevor, an English spy, meets with the National Football Coach Cândido de Oliveira to organize the Resistance activity in Portugal. At the same time that Rose is enticed by the British, Maria João is going to Porto because of an assault on the Mascarenhas branch. A mysterious accident in a wolfram mine brings to the capital the engineer Siegfried Brenner. Larenz, a III Reich spy, keeps a close eye in the engineer.
