Sugar in the Water explores the universal human experience of waiting through the lens of an independent filmmaker. Collaborating with twelve close friends and family members, the film unfolds in carefully chosen locations—indoors, outdoors, and within a studio setting—where their spontaneous actions reflect the subtle rhythms of anticipation and stillness.
